Imole Intelligence · In development

From raw survey data to a decision a person can defend.

Imole Intelligence is the AI layer we are building for underwater robots and subsea inspection. It is a product direction under active development, not a finished system. This page describes what it is meant to do.

Six steps

Each step keeps a record, so a reviewer can trace any finding back to the original file.

  1. CollectTake the files operators already have: video, sonar, survey reports, route maps and asset records.
  2. AlignPut every file on the same clock and the same map, and record where each one came from.
  3. ConnectLink each observation to the stretch of cable it belongs to and to earlier surveys of that stretch.
  4. ClassifySay what was seen, with a stated confidence.
  5. RankOrder findings by how much they matter to the cable and how sure the software is.
  6. ReviewA person confirms, dismisses or escalates each finding, and gets a draft report.

Design commitments

Software, not vehicles. Imole Intelligence is designed to read data from the robots and sensors operators already run. We do not build or sell vehicles.

Human responsibility. Consequential engineering, marine operations and safety decisions stay with qualified people. Every automated suggestion can be overridden, and the override is recorded.

Measured, not asserted. When we report accuracy, we will say what data it was measured on and how. We have not published performance figures yet because we have not finished measuring them.

Data stays with its owner. Infrastructure data is sensitive. Handling rules are agreed with each data owner before any data is processed.

The demo uses synthetic data generated in your browser. It shows the prioritize and review steps on an invented cable route.
