Company · Mission
One billion robots.
Intelligence first.
Our long-term aim is a seabed where machines work alongside the infrastructure they look after. Robots without understanding only produce more footage, so we are starting with the intelligence.
Values
Precision
We state what we measured, how, and on what data.
Intelligence
Software that explains its ranking, so the person reviewing it can check it.
Resilience
Infrastructure that recovers faster when something goes wrong.
Exploration
The ocean is still poorly observed. We want to change that, carefully.
Stewardship
Care for the data entrusted to us and for the environment the infrastructure sits in.
From the founder
Why Imole
The cables on the seabed are some of the most important infrastructure we have, and some of the least visible. The people who maintain them work from fragments: a survey from years ago, a video file no one has time to watch end to end, a route record that may not match where the cable actually lies.
Imole exists to put those fragments together, rank what matters, and leave the judgment with the engineers responsible. We will be specific about what we have built and what we have not, and we will publish evidence before we make claims.
